Getting to know me
I’m Priya, the passionate, compassionate and expert eating disorder dietitian. When I started out, I didn’t know people recovered, because I only saw them for a few sessions when they were very unwell. That was heartbreaking. I remember the moment a therapist sat me down and talked me through all the cases of people I’d seen who had recovered. After almost 20 year of supporting people with eating disorders in their recovery, that has stuck with me. I’m still super passionate about the fact that everyone CAN recover. There has to be HOPE otherwise why would you try. I honestly think your mindset is key.
I’ve worked in the NHS, supporting those in day care, running meal support and group sessions. I’ve worked in private hospitals, working with people on a 1-1 basis and as outpatients. I now work 1-1 with people through my own private practice. Through all of this I’ve built up a lot of experience with what works, what doesn’t and what is missing from treatment for some people.
All of this has led to the Recovery Tribe Course. A group coaching course where we can be share the journey together. Doing things together can really be beneficial:

Once you have paid, you will be sent a health questionnaire form to complete. This will help Priya check that you are a good fit for the course.
If needed, a refund will be given if Priya thinks that now is not the right time for you to take part in the course.
A week before the course starts, you will be sent your log-in information and there will be videos to work through
If you are currently losing weight or are having intensive treatment right now then this course is not for you. If your BMI is below 15 then 1-1 support will be better for you right now.
If you have other complex health issues then these may be better supported in 1-1 sessions but contact Priya first.
